Weekend in Thatcher, and other stuff....warning long post!

Sorry these are a little out of order...but I had to share what the girls were doing while I was making dinner the other night. They pulled down some pillows of the couch and were reading library books on their backs...it was just too cute I had to share.

Also I am an Auntie again. Doug's sister Allison had her baby Thursday morning. He weighed 6lbs. 13 oz. and his name is Colin Micheal Berryhill. She had a long hard labor and pushed for 3 hours and was soooo glad he finally came. They live just down the road from me so I will be seeing alot of him!

This is picture of my Great Grandma.....so she is my girls Great-Great Grandma. She is just amazing. Sharp and a little spunky we all love grandma carpenter. She makes Cakes and cookies, and bread for everyone that comes over. Here is a picture of her getting her ingredients together to make a cake.
Sorry these look a little soft.....I didn't sharpen for the web.

While we were there we went to feed the ducks at Safford Fairgrounds. The girls liked feeding them and kept asking for more bread. We also had a little picnic there with grandma.

We went to Thatcher this weekend while Doug was Elk hunting near Snowflake. He had a great time with all his brothers and shot the biggest one. There's just something about Thatcher. Everything is slower and so picturesque(is that how you spell it?) My girls love being at grandma's house and my mom watched them all weekend while I took pictures. By the way all you cute families....they look great and I can't wait to edit them. We took most of the pictures down at an old red barn in Central. My mom had this great antique chair that we used too. I attempted to get some cute pictures of my girls....by myself one morning. These are the best ones.

Don't you love Livy's face!

Tommarow we are driving to vegas to see my cousin Lisa in Vegas. We had orginally planned for me to fly today but since Doug caught his elk we are just driving and it will be better so we can have a car when we are there. I made the reservations with Williams-Gateway airport. They were super nice and were going to allow me to have both girls on my lap for one price. Every other airline was going to make me buy 2 tickets. And they were way cheaper than the other airlines. So next time check them out.....
Wow if you have made it this far give yourself a pat on the back. Thanks for reading my journal entry for the night!

My First Wedding.......

Me and Jess....not the best picture....but you get the idea! She was my 2nd shooter at the wedding and got some amazing shots!! I couldn't have done it without her.

My sweet photographer friend Jess and I drove up to Payson this Sat. to shoot my 1st wedding. We had such a great time on the drive up and their were only a few moments of stress while I was shooting the wedding. The bride was so cute and spunky and had orange cowboy boots and a beautiful sunflower bouqet. We had so many awesome spots to shoot at and I wish we had some stuff like this around here! I took over 1600 pictures.....And am going to edit about 150 of them. Along with all of the other holiday sessions I am doing right now...I feel a little overwhelmed. But I can do it.....I love creating memories for people. Here is my favorites from what I have edited so far.....weddings could be my new favorite thing!

What's been going on.....

The girls-Went to the doctor b/c they have been super fussy and coughing and waking up early. L wants to play with the toys on the well side of the office. I won't let her. Complete Melt down!! It was really frustrating trying to distract her. She doesn't stop for like 10 minutes.....Raising girls is tough! L is getting teeth and A is getting over a cold.
Dewper the prairie dog is their best friend. They talk about him all day long and want to sing the kids club songs. They like to reminisce about how he hugs them at kids club.....They say..."Dewper...hug....aww." As they hold their hand to his face....cuties!!

Me-I'm shooting my 1st wedding on Sat. in Payson....I'm excited but nervous. Anybody have a pose that they loved from their wedding pictures? I am starting a photography blog and getting a logo. A friend in my ward in working on it for me. Exciting! I can't wait to share it with you all. This week was alot of fun! I took pictures for Jennifer Larson on Monday, Went to Yoga on Wednesday, Enchriment on Thurs., Babysitting for the logo making lady on Fri., and the wedding is on Sat.....sweet Dougers has put the girls to bed almost every night!

Doug- Been busy with work, got his name approved (A/C Doctors)and we are now paying for advertising for the summer. The Verizon phone book is $500 a month! Dex is $2500. YIKES! And we are figuring out online advertising. He is also getting ready for his hunt with his brothers next week. He will be gone for 10 days.....so I will be putting the girls down every night.:)

I feel weird posting without pictures....maybe next time!

I think I am baby hungry.....

So not think....know! Tonight I went to visit my sweet friend Angie who just had g/g twins yesterday. I asked her if I could hold them both.....as they grandma put them in my arms, I started to sob. It brought back such sweet memories...holding 2 babies and not knowing who to look at. (I am also on the big "P" so I am especially emotional) I have been feeling like this for a while now and just keep putting it off. We are going to wait until the girls are 2. But I keep having thougts/promptings during the day. I am so grateful that they were born so healthy. And I keep feeling like I am ready for another.....what the junk??? 2 toddlers and a newborn.....It will be crazy but I don't want them too far apart...you know? And I also feel like my girls are so big....talking all kinds and being little bossy divas. Sigh..... Anyways...just some thoughts for tonight....and a picture too!

A Morning at the Zoo

My cute sister Manda had some free passes to the zoo so we went on Wednesday with her. The weather was really nice until we were about to leave. I think I will get a family pass so we can go more often. The girls loved the "Amoles" as they call them. They loved the big tree house too. Sorry I don't have any pictures of that.
Here they are looking at the Elephant.
Small toddler play place by the petting zoo

Cute Ma and her kiddos....Hyrum and Abigail or A-gee-gee as my girls call her.

Audree was a little nervous about the goats at first...but she warmed up at the end.

All of the kiddos petting the little guy....

Olivia had to pet/brush every goat. She was so excited! She went from goat to goat petting each one. It was cute. She would get going so fast she would trip though. She fell 4 times and skinned her knees up....:(

Sorry the pictures aren't very sharp. I didn't want to take time to sharpen for the web....thanks for looking!
Oh and in Dougie news.....he has decided to name his company......A/C Doctors. It was either that or Cooling Masters...but the A gets you higher up in the phone book. We will be starting next year.....we need some prayers that all goes well. Thanks!

A New Lens

I just bought a new zoom lens for weddings and family pictures. A 17-50mm Tamaron lens. It is so neat but definately different than my prime lenses. You can get so much more in the pictures. Here is our messy room. I am just standing in the corner.....those are dried up wipes on the floor.
This is like 1-2 inches from my face.....all the pictures are disorted a little b/c they are so close. And at 17 mm.

1st picture with the new lens

NICE!

Look at those cheeks!

And here are some better ones. ;) These are just by my house. I wish there were prettier places close by.....I just feel so blah about the backgrounds.
I got this umbrella for 1 dollar at Beals...(my mom's favorite discount store.)

I just love her expression
This is the only picture where she was looking at me! Ah the joys of raising 2 toddlers!

An Amazing Read

I just finished this book that was recommened to me by a few people. It is a really neat story about a woman in the 1800 who comes to Arizona. It is amazing to me to think about what the pioneers went through. I don't know if I could have handled it. Her family was attacked by Indians, and illness as they came here. Then it goes on with the story of her life. Anyways, while you are waiting for the next book in the Twilight series to come out.....get this one! ;)

Sorry no pictures....I need to upload them to my computer!

When was the last time you left a movie Smiling?

I just did! I went and watched Stardust and it was just awesome! There is everything in it. Drama, romance, action, comedy, and very clean. I laughed out loud and felt so happy after leaving it. You should go check it out! It was really enjoyable!

We also went to dinner tonight with Jill and Brad http://stoddardstuff.blogspot.com/ thanks guys. We went to a place called that's like Cafe Rio on Val vista and baseline. I wish I could remember the name. It was yummy!

Around our house these days

The girls like to push each other around in the doll stroller.
Audree found my bra the other night and was trying to hard to put it on. So I helped her....and then of course Olivia had to have one too.......their 1st bra's! Just a tad too big!

We are getting ready for Haloween! I just ordered these cute monkey outfits for the girls from Old Navy. They were like 20 each and a steal for how cute they look in them. They love to wear them too.....They will be 2 little monkeys, I will be the mommy calling the doctor, and Doug will be the doctor telling them not to jump on the bed!
Here is a preview!

A few nights ago Audree was cleaning up the "Gogo's" (legos) and counting. And she was counting to 10~ I don't know where she learned that from....I don't remember counting that high with them. She likes "SEBAN" the best though. It's so cute!
And last night we were playing in our homemade sheet fort and it was time to take it down. Audree was so sad so I sugessted we go to her room and play with the legos. She walked over to Olivia and asked her to come..."Wibia.....Gogo's?" Olivia said "No!" Audree was crushed! She burst into tears...she so wanted her to play! Audree asked again...."WIBIA.....gogo's" (with alot of emotion in her voice. She was so sad....I told her I would play with her. I just loved seeing that Audree really wanted to play with Olivia. It's so neat to have a friend to play with.
It was just a really cute moment that I wanted to document!

We had some leftover pesos so we bought the girls these dresses! They are just too cute on them!

So things are good and busy around here. Doug and I got asked to speak in church on Sunday and he spent 4.5 hours last night preparing. He is really nervous and Hates talking in church.
