Santa's HERE!

We went to meet Santa at our ward party last weekend. The girls were tired and fussed alot through dinner, so we went and found Santa and went home to bed! Audree was a little scared and Olivia was curious. He wasn't the happiest dude, but we got a picture right?:)

Feathers....they look like ducks mom!

Hyrum and Abigail came over to play one afternoon and Hyrum was very interested in the girls ponytails on their heads. He kept saying, "They look like ducks, mom!" "Look they have feathers..." We decided to all get some feathers and take a picture!
Sorry for the red-eye and the grubby looking kids....it was the end of the day.

THANKSGVING in THATCHER!

So Fun!

We stayed for a whole week and really enjoyed ourselves. I took over 1000 pics when I was there and got some good practice in.
The girls loved being around the grandma's and didn't really fuss at all.....I think they get bored at home with me all day....thanks for looking! We are truly blessed!

SWINGING!

Girl...I got your back!
Being a twin has many advantages...like your sister helping you swing. The girls love swinging and being at the park. Audree loves exploring and eating the sand, and Olivia just sits there confused at the grainy stuff around her.

The Name Game....from Jill

Jill tagged me and wanted to know how we came up with our girl's names. When I was pregnant, I was watching "Wheel of Fortune" one night and a girl on their was named Audree. I really liked the spelling and knew that Audree was one of them. We both liked Olivia...there are some children's books named Olivia. We didn't decide until they were born who was who though. I wanted to meet them before I named them. So until they were born they were A & B. When I saw Livvy for the 1st time I knew that's who she was. She just looked like an Olivia to me. And Audree got Audree b/c that's what we had chosen. And of course, I think she looks like an Audree too!

I now tag....Jennie W. and Jen Barrett( I can't remember your married name?)

Pics for fun

Audree
She just started crawling this weekend. She says, Mamam & Dadada. She claps her hands. She loves books, and cuddles when she is sleepy. She is content to hang out and play with whatever toy is in front of her. She has 3 teeth now. She is truly a blessing to our family!

Olivia
She crawls around like an inch worm. She moves quickly to whatever she wants. She loves to climb on mom and have a bite of what she is eating. She has just started to learn how to wave bye, and she has a sassy little attitude. She scrunches up her nose and sucks through it...she is such a cutie! We love having her as a daughter.

We are a happy family!!

Sorry I've been MIA

Things have been busy around here. We just spent 5 days in Thatcher and had a great time seeing family down there. While there I dropped my camera:(, and am hoping to have it fixed soon. Doug is hunting this weekend again and hopes to get an elk.
The girls are too cute! Audree has been saying Mamamama, and Dadadada. So sweet. Livey goes wherever she wants really quickly with her salimander scoot. Just today she went from laying down to sitting up. I just saw Audree do this today as well.
Just for kicks here is a pic from a while ago....Can't wait to upload the ones I took in Thatcher.

The Temple

Amanda is so great! She and I have a great relationship and she always helps me out. Yesterday she watched our girls so we could go to the temple. It's been almost 1.5 years...from being prego and sick to having the babies and nursing them, we haven't been in a long time.
It was so neat to be there again. To be reminded of what is important and to learn some new things. What a beautiful world we live in. What a loving Heavenly Father we have, and how blessed I am. Doug told me that he loved me in sign language and I started to cry.....I guess the temple makes you love your husband more...:)
I am truly blessed.

I have a new nephew......

My cute little sis J had a baby boy on Sept. 12. His name is Curtis Jeremiah McNeill. He weighed 7lbs 6 oz. I just got some pics of him. He is just too cute! We are so glad he is here and safe....he had the cord wrapped around his neck twice and had a knot in his cord. He is such a cutie and I can't wait to meet him....I love new babies!

Watch Higglytown Hero's while mom eats....

7-8:30 Play time! Shake toys, sing songs, read stories, roll over, tummy time, creeping around, play in our Jumparoo and excersaucer.

What a fun weekend!

We had a great time this weekend! On Friday night my parents came up and the boys went to a Diamonbacks game. They left in the 11th inning and the game was still going on when they got home!
On Saturday we went to the Pointe South Mountian and swam at the water park with Grandma and Grandpa. The girls did pretty good and Livvy fell asleep in Grandma's arms. Olivia's tummy has been hurting her because we have thrush, so she was a little cranky. But overall they did great! Audree loves to kick and splash in the water and she went down the lazy river with Mom.

Later that night Doug and I went to see Tim & Faith in concert!!! WOW! We had a blast! We were in the 6th row! It was so awesome to be that close. Out of all the people I would like to see in concert, it would be them! They are very talented and sounded great live. Faith has an incredible voice and is very personable with the crowd. She even waived to me and gave me a wink!!;) They sang about 6-8 songs together and then sang by themselves the rest of the time. I just kept taking pictures because they were right by us. We sang right along with them, our voices were tired and our ears were ringing at the end of the night. We were right in front of the back up singers and it was so fun to watch and listen to them. The couple next to us got engaged on the last song, and of course I took pictures and am going to send them through email. Doug surprised me with the tickets just because. He is such a sweetie and does so many things to make me happy! He is a great husband, father and person. I love you Doug!

Yummy Food!

Audree and Olivia started eating rice cereal about a month ago when they turned 6 months. The first time I made it I didn't read the directions and made it SUPER thick. Livvy was gagging! I then read the directions and made it really runny. Since then we have introduced lots of veggies and fruits and even a 2nd meal. The girls like to snack on puffs and are learning to grab them and put them in their mouths. It's so fun to watch their faces when they try a new food! YEA for new things!

A built in buddy

So our girls are interacting more and more these days. Livvy usually wakes up 1st from her nap, and when we go to get Audree, they get so exctied to see each other. After they eat I sit them in front of each other and they coo, smile and try to gives kisses(really try to eat each other:) I love watching them interact. It is so neat to see the bond they have already. There are the curiosity hair pulls and the accidental bonks, but every bit is worth it to see them smile at each other. I can't imagine having one....it's so neat that they have a built in buddy!

Our story

So just for journaling sake and to reminice(sp?) I wanted to post about my story about the girls. Doug and I decided to have a baby and got pregnant on the first try. We were elated! I went to the OB at 10 weeks and he gave me and ultra sound. Lo and behold their were 2 heartbeats!! We couldn't believe it! There are no twins on either side of our families. I had a great pregnacy and worked until I was 29 weeks(about7 months) I then went on modified bedrest and had the girls 3 weeks early by c-section. (Audree was breech) Here is what they looked like when they were brand new

Audree Eliza weighed 7.3 and Olivia Suzette was 5.10. Their middle names are after our mother's. It is so neat to have 2 that way no one feels left out!

My mom got to stay with us for 3 weeks which was such a blessing because I got to sleep a little more and I was still recovering from my c-section. I was blessed to be able to breastfeed them and it's still going great!

I loved hearing their 1st little cries! I couldn't/can't believe that Heavenly Father would entrust me with two of his angels! They are the sweetest girls. I love being their mother and love watching Doug be a dad. My life is full of love and so many blessings!
Here is another one of my favorite picture I took when they were 3 weeks old.

We are sick:(

Audree just got over an ear infection and wouldn't you know it Livvy now has one! We went to the ped tonight and he had to dig some wax out of her ear. She was SOOO upset! She threw up and was screaming! I just hate seeing my babies sick:( Thank goodness we can do something about it to help her feel better.
