Summer is here...

Nothing better than a kiddo pool on a hot day....we have a love hate relationship with summer at our house. Doug loves it....money for our family. I hate it....I miss his help and just miss him.

Thankfully our Regiane is coming for another summer of fun!

Well, maybe if my sweet helpful daddy helps me in the pool, it will be ok....

More walk than crawl these days.....our big boy Clarkie is walking now....cute little drunken sailor.

Mr. Grant thinks that it looks like fun too....he just is now taking his first little steps....tumbles and busy times at our house....

Can someone tell them to stop growing....

These sweet 4 1/2 year olds are so fun these days.....They say the cutest things and are so helpful too....

I Love to see the Temple

This past weekend we were able to go to Thatcher for the Gila Valley Temple Open House. I grew up in Thatcher will many wonderful members of the LDS church around me. The closest temple is here in Mesa (about 3 hours away) and many people from Thatcher would travel to Mesa to attend the temple. Words cannot express how happy I am for the residents of the Gila Valley to have their own temple.

The whole town is buzzing with excitement. It's so exciting that everyone can go in the temple and take a tour of what happens in there. The girls loved it. I started crying just looking at the pamphlet. The girls loved the Angel Moroni on top of the temple. We left the boys at home so that we could have this special time with our girls....they would have been hard to hold onto.

I think that Doug and I will be attending this temple more than the Mesa Temple because we have so many babysitters in Thatcher. It was breathtaking inside and defiantly a memorable experience.


Also while we were down there Doug took the girls 4-wheeling with his brothers. After the boys woke up we went out to ride for a little bit.

Uncle Tommy has this awesome 4 seater Prowler that the boys took a ride in. I drove it too...it was nice...my kind of  4-wheeling.

We also were able to attend my new nephew's blessings....what a fun family weekend! I am so grateful for the Gila Valley and my family.

The last of the 20's

29 and happy. Spent the morning doing laundry and reading to the girls. Waited for my best bday friend to take me on a date. Isn't it so crazy that Doug and I have the same bday? Our mom's were in labor at the same time. It's fun to celebrate together.

 My sweetie brought me some flowers and the girls made some cards.

We went here and had the whole place to ourselves...He placed 5th for the day and I placed 7th....(however only 8 people had come that day....):)

He is adorable right? Don't you just love him? I do....he is such a wonderful man.

We had a yummy dinner here....you know free food tastes better? They give you a free dinner on your bday....the checkout guy didn't believe us.

Got my ear's re-peirced...almost hurt worse than 2 c-sections....nah....looks like I need some color and a hair style no?

Had 2 yummy bday cakes brought my my sister and my good friend Angie...

I am a lucky girl.

Sweetness

Here are my sweeties on our bed one afternoon. 10 minutes of pictures and priceless memories captured. I have a love/hate relationship with them growing up. Getting bigger means not so many tantrums, and doing things for yourself. But I love love love the sweet baby phase too....

New Decorations....

This is the brothers favorite spot....I think they make some very cute additions to our home decor....don't you agree?

And I have been meaning to post these forever, but I got some new curtains and they have totally changed the look of my house.  This awesome lady....Sarah and I did a trade. I took her pictures and she made me these amazing curtains.

(Don't mind that I didn't take off the place logo)

These are in the front room and I LOVE them.....so classy.

And for the past year we have had our bed over in this little nook....2 weeks ago we switched things around and put the office in the smaller part of our bedroom. Doug installed some awesome cabinets, and it is so much more cohesive....don't mind all of the mess...we are still organizing....

Sing it my friends....my sweet Doug always treats me so good and surprised me with Micheal Buble tickets....the concert was Amazing!! (until they told me to put my camera away, or they would confiscate it...) He sounds just as good live as he does in person. And he is HILARIOUS!! 

And another brag on the Dougers.....he sure loves his girls. Here they are after a fun daddy date at the Red Mountain Lake....guess what we had for dinner....yum....battered and fried....

And I have spent hours trying to figure out the blog...gr....scroll down all the way to the bottom and there are all the links...ahh.....I've missed you all. Hopefully I will figure it out soon!

Something weird happened to my blog....the links are gone! Well they are visible from the layout page but for some reason don't show up on the blog? Any suggestions?
And does anyone know how to get the layout wider so the full picture shows?

We should start a daycare.....

We have had some super fun playdates with our multiple friends this week.



Angie's 2 sets are 20 months apart...she is one busy momma...we spent a few hours in backyard with new fake grass...we had a little picnic back there and the girls LOVED playing in there playroom upstairs.

Man..I look tired in this one...
....This is Jayne (mother of 2.5 year old quads)...we were feeling brave and took all the kids to Chick-fil-a for lunch. The worker asked if we ran a daycare....Nope! They are all ours....


It was a success!

I love these gals and love that they get the choas of my life....

Spring has sprung....

We spent Easter weekend in Thatcher with our Grandparents. The kiddos always enjoy going to spend time with the grandparents. I didn't take many pictures, because I was too busy holding my new nephew Jesse. www.leahdavisphotography.com
