Birthday Festivities

We had a great birthday weekend. It started on Friday....I babysat Ma's kids and the girls one by one took off their diapers and wanted big girl panties...they just looked so cute and big I had to take a picture. Of course they all had accidents and we were back in diapers soon after this picture. But Liv seems to be getting it and did all her poops on the potty today. Fun....





That night we went out on a date. My sweet sis-in-law Ali watched the girls. We went to the amazing Cafe Rio and got a salad...YUMMIE!! We then did a little shopping and went and saw "Ironman" which was good. It's so fun to be together and walk around holding hands with my lovie.




I know this looks crazy but I LOVE Crocks!! I started wearing them when I was preggo with the girls and had to buy myself some new sandals for my b-day. And the black pair next to the sandals were on clearance so I bought those too. The styles are getting cuter don't you think? Anyways they are my fav!!


This is my present from Doug. I came home from Thatcher a few weeks ago and Doug had redone my kitchen table. I bought this material like a year ago and have been talking about re-upholstering(sp) my chairs for a while. Well he surprised me with new stain and beautiful new chairs. So sweet. That's just like Doug to listen to what I am saying and then do it! This is my b-day and mother's day present. I love it!




Here we are on our actual b-day. Me and the girls had just awoke from a nice nap and earlier in the day we made doug his favorite cake. Jello cake~ yum! Doug had to work and I wasn't feeling well but the day ended up great. Our friends Eric and Alicia brought us some gifts and ice cream. Yay for a fun weekend.

San Tan Splash Park

The other day we met my Sister-in-law Christi and one of her sons and at the San tan splash park at the San Tan mall. It was a little cold and I forgot towels....doh!! I had to go buy some $10 towels at the Disneystore....oh well. We had a great time with our cute cousin Jonah. It was fun and free and we will go check it out again this summer....anyone want to come with us?

Country Thunder.....Then and Now

Dougie got some free Country Thunder tickets last weekend. We trecked it out to Florence to see Billy Ray Cyrus, Kelli Pickler and Dirks Bently.
I wouldn't normal care to go to concert of these guys but for free...why not! The music was ok but the atmosphere was horrible! Smoking, driking, dirty dancing, swearing, puking.....I felt like it was Hell on earth. I'm so glad this is not the lifestyle we choose to lead.

Here is a fun part to the story....almost 9 years ago to the day, Doug took me to Country Thunder for our 18th birthday. We saw Faith, and met Toby Keith and John Micheal Montgomery. We have such fond memories of that time together...it was fun to kind of re-live it.

It was a great way to spend a date night....love you honey!








This picture is just horrible of both of us...this was taken on the night we got home from the concert...it was late and we were tired...hence the horrible faces! Just wish we would have appriciated those H.S. bodies!

Another Roomie Reunion

This is my next set of Amazing roomies. I lived with these cute girls after I moved out of the other appartment. I lived in Downtown Mesa with these girls and loved every minute. We had a great little house in the historic district. We had many late night talks in our jammies and lots of brownie eating. The fun part was our heights.
Cami is 6'3 I am 5'11 and Jen is 5'2ish(Sorry Jen I can't remember)
We met at Jen's house a super yummy dinner and chatting....which is sometimes hard to do with my kiddos!

Just for Me.....

I have missed taking pictures of my girls lately. So during my nephews 6 month pictures I snapped a few of the girls. They were super uncooraperative and I bribed them with fruity marshmellows. I was sweating bullets at the end of this. Despite it all, I got a few. I know I will look back on these times with fondness. These were taken in my garage with me new backdrop....( I want more of these things...)

And a fun little update.
Doug has been in Business One month and the 1st's month's profits aren't too shabby. Go Dougie!
I'm getting ready for camp....next month will be a busy one. Also have been shooting alot and sadly having to turn people away b/c I am too busy.

Audree was huggin all of her friends at kids club today the whole time. It was so cute. And she came home and pooped on the potty....what a big girl.

A few days with Lisa....Haircuts....and cousins!

I went to Thatcher to spend a few days with Lisa while she was there. We stayed out in Solomon with the Herringtons. My parents were in the Bahamas....(Lucky)
Lisa cut the girls hair and I just love their new dew's! We had a great time on the farm watching the cows poop and petting the horses. Also playing in water( wish I could share the pics....but they were naked):)
I just love lisa and we stayed up late talking and running around with our little ones. Thanks for hosting us Nona!

Rommie Reunion!!!!

The girls of Dobson Town Center #251!! Back together again! (Almost all of us...we missed you Kindy!)

I lived while these girls during a crucial time in my life. I was just recently divorced and felt very insecure about myself and my testimony. These Amazing women...and I mean AMAZING....helped me through the hardest times. I love them all so much! Jennie always had such wise counsel. Cara was such a great example of righteous living. Jen B. her testimony shined through it all. Leslie was tons of fun!
Lisa was the most Christlike loving person....I just them all! And Sweet Kindy always had an ear to listen
Lisa and Cara (my cousins) were coming to town and so was Jen Noble from the Co! So we got together at my house this past week. It was so great to see everyone as sweet mothers in ZION! I so Wish I had a scanner so I could share pictures from the past..I know all of the girls were placed in my life for a specific purpose. It was so great to see everyone!!






We also had a few other friends and family to come and see lisa and cara...thanks for coming everyone! It was a great party!!

I babysit my adorable and amazingly well behaved neice and nephew 1-2 times a week. We always have a great time together....I just love this pic of all of them!

Easter Pics & More

Happy Easter Everyone! Easter Sunday was a little crazy to say the least. Doug got sick and I had to sing in the choir 3 times and direct the primary in Sacrament Meeting. So I found my friend Jess to sit by and when I turned around my girls were gone. I ran around the whole inside of the church for about 5 minutes. I was just about to start going around the outside when someone brought them in from the parking lot! YIKES! I was sick to my stomache! Little liv loves to escape and thinks it's such a fun game....UG! A colored all over the walls during the meeting with crayon (it came off though). Just a super busy overwhelming day for me. Most days are NOT like this though. I don't me to sound like a grounchy mean mom. But I was done with them when we got home.
We then went to My sweet Sis-in-Laws for a super yummy Easter Feast with a Honey baked ham. This is her front yard. I took pics last year here too in their Easter dresses...I will have to go dig those out.
I just Love My Audree's face....she is such a sweetie.




Livvy wasn't quite in the mood that day. A few quick stories about her. She has decided she wants to potty train. She will tell us to Go out! When she is on the pot. And I went to the bathroom earlier ( with her in the room of course...how could she leave my side) and she said, "Mom that's my job!"






Easter Egg hunt in our backyard....check out the adorable baskets my mom made. I had one just like it when I was little.


O was scared to go outside b/c she thought that the easter bunny was out there hiding the eggs...silly one.


Here's Dougie's new work truck and uniforms...I think he looks so cute! This week was slow and he is recoving from an ear infection so he is a litlle discouraged about the business so far, but I know it will pick up.




The girls got, Watercolors, Sidewalk Chalk, and Fingerpaints, from the Easter Bunny. Audree LOVED it! She is such a tactile girl. She loves water and sand and smooshing her dinner food.


I told them to smile big.....this is what I get....don't you just love it!


One last story...and some of you have heard this....
Liv has been climbing out of her crib recently. It hasn't been a big deal until this week. On Tues. she woke up at 6 am and woke up everyone else. Then for naps I layed her down at 1pm and she came out of her room and 1:50. I took her back in there and told her to go back to bed. 3 tries later, I locked her in. She undid the lock and went and opened to the door to where Audree was sleeping. Grr...I was so ticked! I wasn't feeling well that day and really wanted a nap when they were napping. So I went down to Babies R Us that day and spent an outrageous amount of money on a crib tent.

It zips her shut in there and she can't climb out. The first day she liked it...the second day she screamed...."I'M STUCK!!" But she has been sleeping all through the night 12 hours and one 3 hour nap everyday since...so it's been a great investment....
