Snapshots....boys 2.5 months, summertime fun

So to anyone but my mom and dad, this post might seem a little boring. But this is what is going on around here.
My sis in law Allie had these onesies and in honor of our favorite girl Hay(that's Regianne) we just had to take some pics with her country on them!

Serious little Liv....anyone know what to do with some crazy, defiant, 3 year olds that are already lying? I am going to get the Love and Logic book from my friend. Poor Hay just hears me threaten and discipline all day. 3 is WAY worse then 2!


I love her curls..they get curlier when she sweats or swims....


On Memorial day Audree was having a rough one. She was in time out in her room, things got quiet, I went to check on her, and found her asleep in her closet.....


Last but not least...our sweet little one's smiling...I am so blessed!

My saving grace....

Meet Regiane...sweet, talented, smart, caring, funny, helpful, kind...pretty much an amazing gal. She is a family friend from Brazil that has been living with my in-laws in Thatcher going to school. She has the summer off and came to live with us and help me with the kiddos!! IT IS AWESOME!! She is so helpful and having another set of hands around after 5 o'clock definatly keeps me sane. I am so glad I won't be going to the looney bin any time soon....

8 weeks old

Can you believe it? Time is just flying by. Things aren't too bad here at the Davis house. Life with 2 sets of twins under 3 is not as bad as I thought it would be. We don't do much...I sit on the couch in my jammies, no bra and nurse all day. Sorry to those of you that have stopped by and seen me in this state... The boys are down to nursing about 20 minutes or so. When I am not nursing, I am dancing with the girls, reading books, doing puzzles or crafts and enjoying my sweet girls.

I love newborns...I love chubby cheeks and kissing chubby cheeks all day long. They fall asleep about 1-2 after each feeding. They eat at 9 or 10 at night and go until 2 or 3 and then again till 6 or 7. So I am getting some sleep in there....most nights.

Here are some pictures that I took the other day...I couldn't get Grant to smile his big smile....


Sweet Mr. Grant started out as such a grunter. He would grunt and talk all day long. I hardly hear him grunting now. He is such a good baby. He loves to smile now and arch his back, and move his neck so he can see what is going on. I love my Grant. He is a go with the flow dude unless it is feeding time and then...watch out....he is ready to eat. He has a herniated belly button that we are keeping an eye on...I hope it goes away on it's own and we don't have to do surgery.


Cutie Mr. Clark...I love his cheeks! He smiles all day too. He is just a chill little man. Most of the day is goes with the flow...but lately around the 6 o'clock feeding he starts to fuss....I guess it's just the fussy time of day for him. I love this little guy...

I love that I am able to stay home and enjoy this time in my life....being a mom is a wonderful thing.

And would'nt you know...here is what my sister caught the girls playing today. Olivia (don't mind the closed eyes)...is nursing her baby. She has said to me..."Hey mom I wish I be a baby so I could eat your chest...." Observant little things...


Here is Audree giving her baby a burp....burp rag and all. She said to me.."Mom you feed the brother's breast milk, but I can't because mine is too small."


As a mother who loves breastfeeding....these little pics just warm my heart.

Blessing Day.....Birthday....

This Sunday was a special day. We had great family and friends attend the blessing of our 2 sweeties. Doug did an amazing job. I will share more of the words he said when I take picture of them in their outfits.

My sweet mom made the boys their blessing outfits...they looked so handsome. I will take pics of them soon...with my new b-day present....a new backdrop stand!



And it was mine and Doug's birthday. We are now the big 28...woot woot!
We were able to go to dinner and a movie the night before and that was awesome....I can't remember the last time we went on a date.
We had a yummy lunch with b-day cake after the blessing, and chatted and played games. What more could you ask for?

It's getting hot these days....here we are enjoying the cool weather one evening. And the lovely new Camo Popper guns from Cabbela's. What a lovely sound.....(not really) They are definitely an outside toy.

When the boys were 11 days old I had 3 great photographer friends come by and shoot some amazing pics of the boys. I already shared the link to Jackie's site, but just had to share the pics that my friend Gina took. This was her 1st newborn shoot and she did amazing!

I really wish I had the energy/time to send you all this adorable announcment. Don't you love it?

















Last but not least....my favorite. She had this special pea pod made just for the boys....I'm getting this one big on my wall for sure...

It's starting....

My life as a single mother of 4.

Anyone been a little hot the past few days? This is great news for us....we haven't had an income for a while. But a little sad for me. Honestly it's not that bad just very busy. But you know the witching hour? When I am trying to get dinner ready, the boys are screaming, the girls are fighting and getting into the cupboards...that's when I when I really feel it.

For the past few months I really haven't done any wifely chores. That's right ladies, no grocery shopping, no doing the dishes, laundry, vacuming, moping, picking things up of the floor...(you get the idea my husband is a saint.) And now all of the sudden with him being gone all day those duties are mine again.shesh I had the good life for sure....how do we get it all done?

I am doing the bare minimum. The girls don't have clean panties? Do a load. Not a dish to eat out of? I guess I better run the dishwasher. So if you come over please don't look at my floors, or in my bedroom. I'm just going to try to enjoy my children before they grow up.

Happy 50th Birthday Mom!!

So anyone who has met my mom or knows my mom, know that she is a totally awesome gal. We love her so much so we got together easter weekend to celebrate!
We went to the Hale Theater to see "Sleeping Beauty" which the girls loved! It was fun to take the girls to their 1st play. We then came home and had an amazing steak dinner made by Doug. YUM! And we gave her a top 50 list of reasons why we love her.

We then came home and attemped a grandkid pic. Ever year for mothers day we get my mom a shirt with all the grandkids on it...here is the best one...it took a while to get this...that's alot of kids under 5. Not too shabby eh?

We had a easter egg hunt in the backyard which the girls loved....A so excited about her egg that had a princess on it.

We all pitched in and got her a new right hand diamond ring...which she loves!! YAY for diamonds!

It was so great to be with everyone and celebrate my sweet mother.
