New tramp....new socks.

Audree found some of Doug's socks and was trying to put them on. So I helped her out...what a silly girl. (She is trying to find her belly button)

Here are a few picks of our cutie on our new tramp that we got for free. They love being up there and these pictures are from when they 1st tried it out. Gotta love that hair. When they want to get up onto the tramp, they pretend to jump on the ground and grunt.... too cute!

New Photo Wall & A New Family Picture!

I made the frame in the center and have been waiting for a long time to put all this stuff up. My favorite pics.....Cutie Doug helped hand everything on Sunday night. I love it!

I went to Las Sendas to take my friend Micalea's family pictures. I made Doug and the girls come along and had Micalea take a few of us. I'm just glad the girls are looking at the camera! Sweet, sweet girls.....getting so big!

Here are the girls 1st Easter baskets. My mom made some for them but they didn't get done in time, so they got the Wal-mart 1.00 basket instead.

We then went to Jeff and Christi's for dinner. We had a super yummy ham and twice baked potatoes. Since their yard is beautiful, I wanted some pics of the girls in their Easter dresses. The pictures look a little grainy but if you click on them they become sharper.

Trip to Thatcher...tutu's and such

We have taken 2 trips to Thatcher recently, one to see Lisa and the other to watch Chris's play. It's fun to be there ( except for the dang allegeries!) and I got some cute pics of the girls. This is in Solomon on the Herrington farm. The shoes are from Uncle Kevin...they are real converse brand!

More Natural Light Practice and an Update

Here are some more pics from me practicing natural light on my favorite subjects!

I just realized that some of you may not know that my little ones have been walking now for about a month. It has changed our lives!! We all walk out to the car together, we play in the backyard and don't get as dirty, and we run up to the stand at church! I really love it and so do they.

Audree is such a sweetheart. She will happily play by herself, which she has alot of time to do, because she wakes up earlier than Livvy. She is a happy content little girl, unless you make her mad, then she growls at you and you might get bitten! She says quite a few words. Bitz(bite), BaBa(bottle),

Dad, Hi, Bah(bath), bye bye(with the cutest little wave), and I heard her say, grandma on Sunday. Dad's nickname for her is Monkey Moo....she is such a good climber and a fast little runner!

Livvy is such a charmer. She will walk right up to most everyone and hold her arms out like she wants to be picked up. She gives big open mouth kisses and sweet snuggles. However if I leave the room and she doesn't want me to watch out! She will cry and scream until I go back and pick her up. She is a little momma's girl(it's so nice to be loved....well ....most of the time)

She just says Dad and Hi...but sure does let you know what she wants with her grunts.

Dad's nick name for her is Livity Boo Boo...or just Boo Boo for short.

Our first day with pink cheeks

SIGH......Today we went and played at the park with Ma, Hyrum and Abigail. It was like 78 degrees and we all left with pink cheeks....it is getting hotter here. I have so loved being outside with my girls. Riding bikes, playing in the backyard and at the park, and playing in our grassy areas by our house. I can't complain about the heat to much b/c it is how we make money...I guess now we will be swimming and playing in the sprinklers!

I'm going to be an Auntie!

Allison and Holt announced this weekend that they are expecting! YIPEE! Another yummy baby to hold...She made the cutest tickets and told her parents that she had tickets to a show that she wanted them to see. Allison totally made these tickets herself and they are way to cute not to share.

Happy Valentines Day!

Well, V-day was a hard day. I was sooo sick with the flu and am just now starting to feel better 6 days later! I could not get out of bed on Wed. at all. Doug and our neighbor gave me a blessing, and Doug took the day off to take care of me. He was so good about taking the girls on bike rides, to the store, and keeping the house clean while I was sick. I had an so many sympotoms of the flu and stomache flu, I didn't know what was up! It sure makes you appriciate a healthly body.

Anyways...back to the land of the living, of cleaning and laundry! :)

New Christmas Presents

Doug is so very thoughtful and bought me(us) a bike and a bike tralier for Christmas! Livvy had a hard time and would cry and cry, and one day I looked back while riding and Audree was biting her hand!!! They are just so close to each other, she just thinks it something fun to do!! OW!!! So we have now fashioned with safety pins a blanket down the center to keep them on their own sides. We love biking to the park and I feel like I'm getting a little workout while enjoying this great weather!






ALSO...I got a new external flash for my camera. You can turn the flash to bounce light off of ceilings and other lights. Here is the first time I tried using it....it came in handy the other day while I was shooting in a house with not very much light.
These are a little dark, but I love their expresions! I'm excited about learning how to use my new toy!

Party!!!

The girls had such a great time at their b-day party on Wednesday! The Jeff Davis family, The Zito's, The Sawyer's, and The Berryhill's where there. We had Costco cake and pizza, opened presents, watched a movie about the girls 1st year of life and watched them eat cake!*The best part* Audree loved the frosting and dove right in....Olivia didn't eat too much until Doug put the cake in her face....too cute! The next day they had pink and purple poo....ewww! Here are some pics of the fun day!

We made it! 1 year of Breastfeeding!

We did it! I am so proud of me and my girls! We made it to a year!!! At times it seemed like we wouldn't make it this far but we did. And they weigh......drumroll

Audree....21 lbs!
Livvy.....20 lbs!

They started out at 7.3 and 5.10 so they are growing just fine. I am so glad that I gave them this gift.
We are weaning and will be done soon... but that is good too. From about 9-10 months it was such a fight to get them to nurse.

And just so all you new mom's know....it wasn't always a piece of cake! We had 4 rounds of thrush.... , mastitis, a few clogged ducts, and biting holes in my nipples.

Even though it was hard at times, I love that I made so big and strong. I love the smiles with milk, the patting while eating and the yummy sweet grunts while they eat.

It's here....my little angels are ONE!

WOW! That year went by quick! Didn't it? I can remember so vividly the day my sweeties came into this world. There 1st cries were magic. Having 2 to raise this 1st year has been a challenge at times, but also a huge blessing. Doug and I feel very honored to be their parents, and so humbled that Heavenly Father would entrust us with two of his special spirits at once. Each new milestone has brought so much joy. We love having our 2 special babies in our home.....we truly feel like we are living in heaven on earth.
So....enough weeping....(been doing that alot the past few days) Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you....Happy Birthday dear Audree & Olivia....Happy Birthday to you!

Christmas In Thatcher






Just wanted to share a few pics from the girl's first Christmas! We stayed in Thatcher for almost a week and a half and had lots of fun getting into all of grandma's stuff.
In the last pic,the girls are playing peek-a-boo under the desk in the kitchen. The second to last pic is our family on Christmas Eve going to Church...notice the scar on Doug's head....he was trying to scare his sister and crashed his head into his parents' front door....ouch! He had to go to the hospital to get it glued and put together.
The next 2 pics are of Christmas morning in their new Christmas jammies.
Then the girls had spagetti for the 1st time....yummm quite a mess though!
Lastly, we had some matching dresses and took pics of all the kids. What a good time!
