3 years ago today.....

My sweetheart and I were married! It has been an amazing, wonderful journey thus far. Doug is truly and amazing person and my best friend. I am so glad that I am married to him. I cannot wait for the years to come.

Sweet Lisa was in town this past week before our family reunion in Flag. We had a blast and enjoy each others company so much! We had and EAC get together and our old roomie Jennie Whiting came by with her cute girls. It was so fun to see everyones kiddos. Sweet Leslie came by and Audree found her glasses. She loved them!

What we've been up too!

Hey everyone...long time no blog! Things have been busy around here. I just got back from an amazing week at girls camp. Sweet Doug had our girls and had a ball with them. I am so glad I was able to go. Such a neat experiance being up there feeling the spirit and bonding with women!

We had a fun family weekend a few weekends ago. My little bro Chris took out his endowments, and we played as a family all weekend long. We went and saw Cirque de So le and our battery on our van died in Glendale.:(


Here we are enjoying the weather. We are so grateful for our backyard!

We have enjoyed being outside and are looking foward to our Udall family reuion in Flag this next week. Also Lisa is coming to stay with me next week. Yippe!

And Doug and I booked a cruise with John and Lisa at the end of August. We are using this trip as our 3 year anniversary trip! Fun Times!

Took these on my bed the other day. I had to hold their hands to keep them still. They are so much fun these days. They learn new words all the time. And Audree said Wev'ee(livvy) for the 1st time the other day. :) They are so precious to me!

She loves to dance and loves music. I really like this one!

My 1 year Photography Journey

Last year for Mother's Day, my sweet Doug got me a beautiful new Digital Camera. A Nikon D70. I was amazed at the pictures I took, the snapshots looked awesome. I started to take pictures for people in my ward and then I found this website. www.ilovephotography.com
That is really where my journey began. I bought books, learned about natural lighting, shooting in manual, shutter speeds, ISO, and aperture. It has been so neat to have something to learn and do besides being mom everyday. I love taking pictures and capturing cute moments. So to show the transformation here are some before and after pics. (I didn't sharpen these for the web, so they might seem a little soft:)
I have practiced alot on friends, family and people in my ward. I just finished my 3rd stranger session. I charge $50 for a cd of the images.

And the final product! We told the girls to put their arms down and this is what we got! We made this picture into a t-shirt and mousepad for my mom.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!

Doug and I had a great birthday together. He hurt his back at work and scouts, so he got to stay home with me on our birthday. We had a yummy bacon and egg breakfast and then opened presents. It's fun to have our birthday together, because all the stuff that I got for him was for me as well. I got him some cd's Martina and Tim, some new bed pillows, a new tie, and some diet DP. He got me Tickets to see Tim and Faith in concert:) Livvy wanted to help with the presents....peek-a-boo!

The best part of the date was going out with my sweetheart. Sweet Amanda watched the kiddos and we went to Cafe Rio and to a movie. It was so fun to walk around and kiss and hold hands like we were dating. Doug is such a sweetie, and I love him so much!

That is where my little bro just got called to serve a mission! We went down this weekend and watched him open his letter. He had it for a whole week and waited just for his sister's! What a guy! We were so glad to be there and are so excited to have a missionary in the family. He leaves July 11. YAY Chris! Congrats!
