2 days......2 concerts

This post is all about me(sorry for the lack of pictures of my cutie pies...I am sure I will be posting more about them soon)

This weekend was a whirlwind of fun!! Friday I went to the "So you think you can dance" concert with the Davis ladies. We went to Olive Garden before and had a great time singing and screaming at the concert.
I swear I am going blind the older I get and the more kids I have. I wish I would have brought my binoculars but found that my mega zoom lens gave me an upclose shot of all the action. And my finger just kept clicking! I took over 600 pics of the dancers and loved getting fun action shots...

These are some of my favorite ladies...I love my sister in laws, neices and mother in law!

The next day I hopped on a early flight with my cute sisters to Utah to go and see our brother in the BYU singers concert. We had a great time laughing, singing and enjoying each other. The best part was that it snowed! BYU is such a special place and I am glad Chris is getting to experiance it. The concert was awesome and beautiful....we were so proud. Going to singles ward was a little strange...I haven't been able to listen to the speakers that well in a while. Doug held down the fort, and did a great job. What a relaxing me weekend!

Here is Chris's cute apartment...and us on the flight. The fall leaves were incredible...I kind of wish we had seasons...

Before the concert we got together with cousins and neices from all sides of the family. We ate at Cafe Rio and then enjoyed the breathtaking sounds of the singers...

We went to Temple square on Sunday. I made Chris take a mock engagment picture with me...don't you love my ring and his GQ face?

The Provo temple on the right is where our parents were married. We thought it would be fun to stop there and take a picture in front of it.

A whole week of Haloween

The week of Haloween was full of fun festivities. It started out the week before at a costume party at our great friends the Zitos. I swiped these from her fabulous blog...(check it out the side bar for all the fun details)
Doug and I went as a Redneck couple...we bought a few wigs, and went to Goodwill and Doug's closet for out amazing attire. We had a great night of food games a ton of laughs....(and a few of my classy nose snorts)

The whole crew!

Our groovy hosts...Loree knows how to throw a party!

We then went Mother Natures farm for FHE on Monday. We have been 2 years in a row now and I think this will be our fall family tradition. The girls love the hay ride and feeding the animals. And of course choosing a pumpkin.

If any of you have met my mother you know that she is crafty queen! She helped me make hand sew these outfits for the babies...I think this is the last year I can tell the girls what I want them to be for Haloween. Don't they all just look great?
We took some pictures in the garage on Saturday and walked up and down our street and then passed out candy to the neighbors. What a fun and festive busy week eh?

Cute Jammies, my singing, apple pie and getting stuck....snapshots of our week

Please excuse the lack of creativity with the title.....Too bad these yellow jammies are too small...I just love how cute they look in them.

Morningtime cuteness....

While playing the piano one day....grant scooched(is that even a word) his way back and was under the couch. But before getting him I had to snap a picture....mean mom huh!

This is what the girls were doing while I was singing and playing piano for the boys the other day.....lovely. Who knew I was that bad?

Cute creative friends....this is their "Apple pie" that they made the other day....we love being outside. They are so cute and fun these days....After much crying one day, O exclaimed...."Mom I am having a rough day!"
And then just a few days ago, Audree was playing with a friend in Nursery. Afterwards Olivia told me..."Mom I don't want Audree to play with (so & so) she is my sissy and I love her. I want her to be my friend forever." I hope this isn't a precursor of what's to come...

10 Year Reunion....Thatcher High

This past weekend was spent in Thatcher once again for our 10 year H.S. reunion. Most of you probably know that my sweet hubsters and I were H.S. Sweethearts. We dated for 2 years, we were each other's first kisses, and most of my H.S. memories include him.
Leading up to the reunion there was alot of reminiscing and remembering the good old days. We grew up in a tiny farming town with only like 97 people in our graduating class. We were all pretty close so seeing everyone again was a blast from the past!
It was a little weird though....in the beginning everyone stood by who they were comfortable with....it felt a little like Jr High....but we have all changed and had some life experiances along the way.
We spent the first night at the Homecoming game where we beat Pima(a neighboring rival town) I stood the whole night and just chatted away...I must admit I didn't watch the game once!
The next day was spent at the park with the kids for lunch and then a dinner and slideshow that evening. I haven't laughed that hard in a while....we went to school with some crazy funny people...and it's amazing how having 4 kids will make all of your memories just fade away....seriously I am getting old!!!

The gang that was there...don't you love the girls on one side and boys on the other...except for Doug....ha! I made him stand by me!

Me and my Dougie doozer...he is seriously just as sweet now as he was back then!

The girls at the park....they had a blast!

Sweet friends at the park...

Some of my favorite people...the girls on the top right all have LEAH in their names...Shealea, Taleah, and me.....funny!

The BEST invention EVER!!!!!

Last winter when I was preggo with the boys the girls would sleep in until 8 am....it was a dream!! This fall has been a different story. For the past few months we have had little girls at our bedside at all hours of the night...and most recently little Audree waking up at 5:00 amd not going back to bed...needless to say it was VERY frustrating.
I heard about this product and after 3 mornings of 5:00 am wake up's I bought it.
And can I just say it was worth every penny!! The night light has an internal alarm that changes the moon into a sun at whatever time you set it for. We set ours for 7:00 a resonable time for a 3 year old....and WAH-LAH! It works....even if they wake up before that they stay in their rooms waiting for the sun to come out....ahhh...sweet sleep!
We are rested and happy here at the Davis house...thanks so a little night light!!

Graham County Fair weekend & The boys turned 7 months old

Doug went hunting with his brother and nephew this weekend, so we headed off to Thatcher to spend time with Grandma. The weather was amazing and we were outside most of the day. Doug's nephew shot his deer the first day so he came right back to us. We headed off to the fair with the kiddos. Small town fairs are fun! Although quite germie(is that even a word?) The girls got a cold and cough while we were there...We loved looking at all the animals and riding the rides. What a fun time!

Their favorite ride was the ferris wheel...

Here are some other highlights...

The girls found some dandilions in the front yard and had a great time blowing them....look at A's concentration!

Grandma loves her babies...she also helped me make the cutest Haloween costumes...we are all matching this year...think chocolate.

The boys turned 7 months while we were there...he they all scrubby looking in my mom's backyard. Don't you love the creamy background?

The next day I dressed them up in their little man shirts and took some more pics....the clouds were out so the pictures aren't as bright.

My handsome boys!
