Blogging from the IPHONE!!!!!

Hello- can we talk for a second about the awesomeness of technology? I have so much to share. A few weeks ago my phone broke and so I had to go down and get a new one. Came out with a FANCY new iphone which is INCREDIBLE..if I do say so myself.
Anyways, the saddest part of this post is that I deleted a memory card with over 200 pictures on it!! WHAT! I still want to try to recover it, but meh! What's a post without pictures...IPHONE to the rescue.

Last Saturday we had a family day at the "Dinosaur" Museum. Not many dino's but really cool facts about natural history and Az. I had just deleted the pictures 2 seconds before this picture....These are from the regular camera...

Okay...so the most exciting news of the month is that I had a 3 day Mommy-Get-a-way!! Wow...what a blessing. I took some flight mile points and flew to see my Best friend and cousin Lisa in Kentucky...what a beautiful place. My heart and my head were having a hard time with the move and the adjustment, and taking a step back from my reality and being with a spiritual person did amazing things for me. Lisa always has amazing advice, and was such an angel to spend time with. We went to Ikea in Cincinnati, Ohio and toured downtown...

The images that I lost were from that trip. WAH!!! So 2 Iphone pics will have to do. But I am going to try to get them back and share here.... I can't belive she lives in such a beautiful place. I felt like I was in a Pride and Prejudice movie the whole time. The whole experiance was good for my soul and I came home with a new perspective on life and motherhood. We decided that we have to get together at least once a year! Other highlights were, spending a whole day in Jammies watching BBC's wives and daughters, laughing until we were on the floor, long walks in the overcast skies, yummy food, and letting myself be me.

These next pictures are all randomness of our lives the past few weeks...

These boys...They are in the throws of terrible two's Shopping, errands, getting them to do anything that they don't have in mind is like torture. But they are so stinking cute, talking all kinds, and being hilariously adorable. Grant came up to me yesterday and said, "Mom, your cute." They both say, "Awww-why you do dat?" Growing too quick

Most who know me, know I have a crazy Ice obsession. Soft crushed ice. Moving out to the boonies has been hard because there is nowhere close with soft good ice. Well I found one at my circle K, down the road and had to take a picture to document it's goodness.
These little's are so much fun. With the weather kinda cooling off, we have been spending time riding out bikes on the back porch...
Free movie night-Ice cream and popcorn for dinner...yeah. We all had tummy aches the next day.
Could you just die with their cuteness? They are doing so well and learning so much at school. I am so proud to be their mommy...They are in different classes, and thriving. While choosing their clothes one day I asked Olivia, "Why do you want to match your sister?" Her reply, "I want everyone at recess to know that Audree is my Sissy." Sweet girls. They come out from school holding hands most days. What a thing to have a sister and best friend.
Here we are at school lunch after volunteering there. It was noisy and rushed, no wonder why they come home with food...
They are always wanting to take pictures of themselves...
SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST! I am an Auntie again. Meet Elijah Jefferey. 10lbs 3 oz and OH SO Adorable! Christi is such an amazing example to me...this is her 7th and final baby! My uterus ached for just a moment while I was holding him....the cheeks were irresistible! Maybe there will be more IPHONE posts in the future.

ETA-While reading through this post it might seem a little narcissistic...whoop-er-daisy. Next time, no pics on me, just house and kids and the normal:)

The New House-{Picture Overload}

Okay...One month later and here are some pictures of our new home. I feel like I am living in a dream. This new home is so luxurious, the space is incredible and slowly but surely I feel more at home here. We feel so blessed that Heavenly Father has given us the chance to have a land to grow our business and our family. I have had many emotions dealing with change, and my heart misses my old neighborhood and ward friends. But the more time passes, the better it gets.
We have already had many guests and many parties, and are so happy to be able to have a home big enough to have people to stay with us.
Here is the front door...

Inside, the sitting/piano room. I need new furniture for this room, but I have to wait. Which is alright. I don't quite know what I want yet.

My new photo collage...I need a buffet or bench underneath it.
My dreamy kitchen...so much cupboard space!!

If you go down the hall here is the dining room...the whole house was this yellow color. I have exciting plans for this room too:)

The living room and kitchen. I love the ceilings, and the hard wood floors. The previous owner spent time and money making it so nice. Yay for us
Another view, those beautiful doors are to the office.

The little mud room, off the garage. my awesome Dougie installed a backpack holder.

My favorite room-Audree and Olivia's. I bought a stencil online and my dear friend Regiane, spent 10+ hours helping stencil the room. It adds such character to the room. I bought their bedding off Ebay, and I LOVE it!!

The boys, this room is not as fabulous as the girls, I am waiting for their big boy beds:)

Downstairs to the basement- Can I just say, I have died and gone to heaven!! ALL the toys in one place! That's cooler....heaven I tell you
There are also 2 spare bedrooms and a bath down here. I have big dreams for down here as well.
This room is silly, but the previous owner left it all as part of the contract....The MOVIE room! No need to go to the movies anymore.

Back upstairs on the other side of the great room is our Master Suite, and I feel like a queen! Regiane and I re-painted my headboard and footboard and I love the shabby chic feel to the bed room set now...Still have more to do in here as well.

The fireplace is double sided so you can sit in the tub and watch it.

Our dreamy travertine bathroom. So nice...

When we first came and looked at the house after leaving, I said, I want the house just for the closet. Um...yeah. Just enough room for 2 pack and play's I might add:)

Another amazing room in the house is the laundry room...I sing like bird while I fold and do the laundry.

Well, that's about it...I have way more pictures, but I have shared enough for today. Everyone is welcome anytime!

Last week in Pictures

For Mother's Day, my sweetheart surprised me with tickets to see the incredible Josh Groban. I love going to concerts and tappin me toes to the beat. He was great! He was gracious and had a quick wit...and there is nothing like his voice! We went with Doug's brother and sister in law. We had a great dinner before and enjoyed our evening together:)

"Don't give up...you are loved!" What a moving concert!
I loved watching all of the other musicians! They were all very passionate to say the least!

And you know, getting pictures of the house is harder than you think! Half the time our spaces aren't all the way picked up(like the counters) and then I don't take a picture when I do.
But here is one of my favorite spots...the BAR! YEah for making breakfast and lunch and handing it right to the kiddos. It opens up to the great room, and beautiful wood ceiling.

Last weekend we got together  as a family and my sister Janiel brought her IPAD...Grant was laughing so hard and the little animals that make noises. That laugh just makes your heart sing.

My brother is going to kill me! But I sure loved spending time with him since he lives in Utah.
Also my cousin Dallin came over for the weekend too. He was hilarious with the kiddos and so fun to hang out with.

Here is my front room...I need to save the dollars to get some furniture in here but I love my grandpa's piano with pictures.
Hopefully I can get my rear in gear and get some more pictures of the house.

Adjusting

Adjusting to-

*7Am Wake up time to get ready for school
*Not having our Sisters around during the day
*The girls school not being as awesome as the school where I taught
*More space
*The Basement still being "scary"
*This being Home-Clark keeps going to the door and saying "I want to go home"
*That feeling of being "New"
*How much floor I now have to sweep
*The overwhelming feelings of such blessings

As you can see we have adjusted to the new bathtub- Rub a dub so many cute kiddos in the tub

Moving Day- the girls start Kindergarten!

My life has been turned upside-down this past few weeks. We have had so much change that I almost lost my marbles,  but thankfully things are slowing down and we are all adjusting to our new life out in the country. Ok-first things first, we packed up the house last week and hired movers to move us into our new home. And can I just say, WE HAVE ALOT OF STUFF! Almost 7 years and 4 kids later, we had that house stuffed to the brim. In fact everything fits perfectly in the new house...and still have the 3 car garage to unpack..

The movers came and got the job done in 5 hours...it was AWESOME...Doug even stood around for a bit and watched

We took some trips in the van with the little things...a.k.a (tons of toys)
Here is our perfect and amazing friend Nonnie-she packed and did so much for us~she also cleaned the house after we left. I COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT HER!!

My heart has such memories here-our first home. I bought it while Doug was hunting one weekend, I brought all my babies home from the hospital here, nurtured, loved, learned, and made amazing memories here. I am already missing all my friends close by.

And I am just kicking myself for not taking pictures while the house was empty....because now it is full of boxes and junk everywhere! Arg....so you will just have wait until everything is put away and in order:) Or you can make the trek out to South Gilbert and see for yourself:)

For now here are the brothers finding new places to play-so much fun!

And here is our beautiful new SAFE pool fence..who is coming over for a swim?

Doug's family came to help this week...here are our awesome strong dudes...all of that is our LAND! yay! Lots of work to be done
Lots of the boxes inside are put away, but the garage? Is another story-
Look at the places for all the scorpions and mosquitoes....Doug has been hunting every day and killed over 60 scorpions...I have killed 2 inside...I scream like a baby everytime!

Get the tissues out- Can someone tell me how these sweet babies, whom I just birthed went and grew up on me?

They were so excited to start school and were even more excited when they got to go back the second day!
I have been so blessed to be able to nurture, love and teach with my precious first children these past 5 years. I have loved the dance parties, the books, the fingerpainting, the cooking, the parks and museums, playdates, and everything in between. I want to be a fly on the wall in their classroom and think about them all day long.

Here are their first day clothes that they picked out themselves

Cutest little things

Lastly-here are my cuties in our old home-so many memories-
I hope the boys don't kill me someday for posting these. The girls sure love dressing their brothers up-isn't it a right of passage as younger brother to be dressed up?
