Christmas in Thatcher was just about perfect. My favorite parts include....the magic of Christmas Eve and watching my kiddos get so excited about it all. Settlers of Katan...(Thanks Chris for introducing us to the game), Movies, sleeping in, spending time with our dear families, attending the Gila Valley Temple, bowling at the Safford Bowl, reading a book, participating in our own nativity, and taking a break from Motherhood...(not really, but my kiddos played well and were busy and happy the whole time!)
Oh and don't forget the SNOW!!
Here are the pictures of our favorite parts...
Our Christmas Eve letter to Santa....The girls told me what to write.
Gingerbread house making on Christmas Eve...also driving around looking at lights with the kiddos...
Whoo hoo Christmas morning was fun! We got the girls Plasma cars....but of course the brothers think they are theirs.
Dreams come true....A and O have been asking for pillow pets FOREVER!! Both Great Grandma Hogan and Grammie Liza bought them their own...so our house has 4 lovely pillow pets.
They liked looking through their stockings....O was excited about her snow globe.
Clark and Grant got a tool set which was a hit!! They love working just like Daddy...
They also got a train set...another boy toy hit!
The Sunday after Christmas we had our first annual Brooks Udall Family Nativity. My awesome cute adorable mom(on the left)
has spent all year gathering material and hand making all of our costumes.
I am so happy that she started this tradition and that we have the chance to teach our children about the true meaning of Christmas. Click on this to see more detail....she spent hours on the costumes.
My personal favorite the little sheep. Could you just die!!! I love the little ears...we had to bribe them with marshmallows for the picture.
Three beautiful Angels and one Shining Star....(Why does Janiel get to be the star?)(Inside Joke)
Here are the gifts to the baby Jesus...dont' know how that binky got in there....but Baby Jesus needs a binky right?
Another favorite present was our Jammies!! I had jammies just like this when I was a little girl...My mom couldn't resist and had to buy her little girls a pair....
Right before we came home we got blessed with SNOW! The mountains around the Gila Valley we covered with white and we couldn't believe that it came down to us!! It only lasted about 30 minutes, but the girls were SOOO excited to have snow to play in...
It was a wonderful Christmas and we have so much to be thankful for. It was really hard to come back to reality, but onto a new year with new goals, and new resolutions.

So much fun! And that nativity is incredible! Tell your mom! The girls hair cuts are to die for. It is especially so fun to see on Olivia because her hair has never been that short! I love it on her, it is so full and bouncy! Gorgeous! So glad you had a good Christmas!
