Summer catch up!!! Phone photos

Our summer feels pretty short but works out just right for us! We had lots of fun this summer. Swimming, playing, exploring, boating, and relaxing!

We started off our summer with our cousins coming over to play....Thanks Cara and Leslie

This summer we were to put in our dream backyard!! Basketball court, tramp under the ground, and patio for the kids to ride their scooters on.

We had our annual A/C Dr.s swim party. Clark was under the water a little too long and the life guard dove into to save him. He was just fine...but better safe than sorry! Stressful moment for Mom though...

At the beginning of the summer Doug was at scout camp so I had our sweet friend Tia come with us on an adventure to Flagstaff. I have major anxiety driving, so I was proud that I overcame that and was able to enjoy our time in the cool. We went and toured a mansion, went to the deer petting zoo, Bearizona and of course the fun of staying in a hotel.

The girls had fun at Miss Laura's summer broadway camp

Doug and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary! Can you believe it? Time sure flew by with my sweetheart by my side. It has been one of the best 10 years of my life. Some of my favorite things about Doug are-
He's devoted, he's helpful, patient, hard-working, generous, adventurous, loving, and really truly the best husband or Dad ever! We had a wonderful time at my favorite resort, and even did some ring shopping and got me a new ring!

More fun times on the boat-this time with cousins..

My friend was giving away this adorable Lion head bunny- we named her Sylvie. Just a few weeks after having her come home with us she gave us the shock of our lives! She ran behind my hope chest and delivered 5 babies! I will spare you the picture of when they were born-lets just say I was freaked out!!

My awesome best friend Lisa and her cute boys were able to come spend a week with us. We sure had fun together! More boat time....

The kids watching a lighting storm...

The boys enjoying a monsoon afternoon...

Az sunsets are the best

We had our annual Davis family campout-this year it was in gorgeous Alpine Az at a cabin we rented. We still took our camper but had a great time cooking in a real kitchen and using a real bathroom! We sure love our Davis family.

Here is awesome Doug teaching the kids how to shoot a bow- they spent hours doing this- and also swinging on the awesome swings they had there...

My adventurous Audree girl....the frog catcher

Doug bought a new toy- a ranger that we all fit in. We took it out to Superior Az and rode some trails. Awesome fun!

Here are the cute baby bunnies when they were 3 weeks old...We have had a great time having friends over to hold them!

Next post-back to school! The kids have already been in school for 3 weeks! Shesh...I have let this blog get behind!

End of the school Year

I better get these cute pictures updated before summer is over!!
The girls had a great 2nd grade year and are thriving at Weinberg and they loved their school year. They started piano lessons this year and I love hearing them plink on the keys. At this time in their lives Audree loves being creative, crocheting, rainbow looming, creating, writing, reading and playing the piano. She is such a joy and always quick to help whenever I need anything.

I said Smile!!! It's your last day...

And they said "No--we don't want school to end...we love school."

This little Miss loves playing with her brothers, loves playing with her stuffed animals, helping me, listening to Mom talk and trying to figure out what the next plans are, LOVES animals and taking care of them, and is always so quick to help. She is such a dear...

These handsome boys graduated from preschool with the amazing Miss Becky. She taught them so much and loved them. At the end of the year recital they sang about 6 patriotic songs which was so amazing. They did science projects all year long, and had such a great learning experience. They are both starting to read, know their letters and sounds, and are starting addition. Can't believe these boys will be going to Kinder so soon!

Poor buddies were sick during their performance...I made them go and perform for me. Look at their sickie eyes...

More Adventures-Trip to Cancun

My hard working hubby won a trip to beautiful Cancun Mexico. We were able to spend 5 days there in an all inclusive resort. It was heavenly! Doug and I have different views when it comes to relaxing we only sat on the beach for an hour the whole time we were there. We had lots of adventures everyday. Our friend told us about an amazing LDS tour guide and we went on 2 full day excursions with him and his wife.

The first trip was too the ruins of the cities Tulum and Koba. It was fascinating. And the spirit was so strong at the ruins as well. I wept many times as the tour guide took us through their sacred grounds and temples.

Here is a picture of the arena where they would play a game similar to soccer or basketball where you have to get a ball through a hoop. They would bounce the heavy ball off their hips, and the winner of the game would have their team captain sacrificed. Our guide talked about how the Lord has given us so much. And what does he ask of us? What can we sacrifice to become closer to him. This was my favorite part of the trip- having my testimony strengthened on our Savior and how I can become a better disciple.

We were able to hike this ruin and it was HARD! Made me with I was in better shape so I could have hiked it the whole way

Here is our Awesome tour guide Eric. He has a masters degree in History, was a stake president, and a spiritual giant.

Here are the awesome ruins of Koba-it was amazing. A walled city right next to the ocean.

This is a lighthouse where they would use smoke to alert ships.

He also took us to see the real Mayan people who still live in Mexico today. We went to a tortilla factory and watched them grind the corn and we ate fresh tortilla's. So good. We also went to his friends house that lived in a few shacks. He showed us how he lived on the land and ate the fruit that the Lord provided for him and his family. He was raising a pig for his daughters  quinceanera...it was very humbling. How much we have and take for granted.

Our next trip was to Chichenzita- it was really incredible. The structures of the city that they built are truly a masterpiece.

This is the arena

Where the royalty would watch

The first telescope

Here are some I phone pics....we would go to swim in these amazing Senote's. Undergournd pools of water they have been there for years. The Mayan people would build their cities around these so they could have water.

One of the nights we were there for the dinner put on by the company that sent us there. I'm so grateful for a get a way with my sweetie. And for my mom and Regiane for watching our babies.

Another day we went to this awesome extreme park where you would zip line crazy long distances into water, and go under ground into the caves with stalactites.  I wish I had a case for my phone so that I could take pictures of the amazing crazy stuff that we did.

We drank virgin pina colada's the whole time....ahh...it was nice.
