32 years young & Emmett is 8 months

Another year gone by-getting older and wiser, hopefully. I sure do love celebrating with my favorite guy. We went on a lunch date, took the kids bowling after school, then went with friends to Jesterz comedy club that night. I can't find the pictures I took at the bowling alley, but it was so fun! All the kids loved bowling, and we even had a soda and french fries. It was a great day to remember, and busy Doug took the day off to be with me. He has been extremely busy lately, so a day with him was much needed. His business is growing and he has hired lots of new workers and bought some new trucks. It's exciting, but means more work for him, time of the phone, out in the office and on the computer. It's been an adjustment, but we are so blessed to have this as a job.

Here we are at our bday lunch, thanks to my awesome sister for watching the boys.

My mom texted me a pic of this quilt that she is making...shes amazing

Delicious cheescake factory for dessert....extra whipped cream for me...yummmm

Look at this sweet shot of Liv and Mitt-it was cool in the evenings this week so we played outside alot.

Our adorable buddy gets bigger by the second. He doesn't like to be spoon fed his baby food anymore, and screams and wants you to give him his own food that he can feed himself. He scoots all over the house, we put a baby gate up this week and he loves climbing up the step to play with the doors.

This is how he scoots/tummy crawls...isn't it the cutest? One arm up and the other helping him get to what he wants...

April Catch Up

Last week I got a call from the school nurse saying that Audree was in her office, feeling pretty bad after tripping and bonking her face on a metal step. Poor girl got her mother's grace, and is a little klutzy. I loaded up the boys and went down to the school and my heart sank. Poor baby in pain...made my stomach turn. We brought her home and took it easy the rest of the day and also took her to the dentist because her permanent front tooth was wiggling.
She is such an easy going smart, loving girl, it just broke my heart to see her hurting.

The inside of her mouth look awful! Cut up and bruised pretty bad...it healed quickly but boy it looked sad.

In Mitters news, he sure has an opinion about food these days. He doesn't like to be spoon fed baby food and grunts and screams in protest. He likes grown up food and he likes to do it himself.

He is also scooting around like a crazy kid. He loves being able to get what he wants

We took the boat out the other day when the girls had a half day...it sure is fun! The kids love the inner tube, and the wind in their faces. It was Emmett's first time and he loved it too except for the vest was a little too squishy by his face.

Little love napping on Mom...awww...

He even got in and was splashing around so happy! And it was COLD! That's a water boy for you...

Doug had a campout the other night so we had a sleepover in Mom's room! I only slept about 4 hours but the kids sure had a great time.

The boys had a field trip to the PHX children's museum...Man that place is AWESOME! I wish it wasn't so far and so expensive...

On a whim one day we decided to take the boys to school and eat lunch with our girlies. They sure loved it. I'm so grateful for these monkeys...

Lastly our favorite Aunt Alayne came and babysat the other night and brought a picnic and dollar store toys. My kids adore her and were in HEAVEN

Easter Weekend and Boy's 1st friend party

These rowdy, energetic boys were able to have a friend party this year. It was low key and full of burps, yelling, toots, and loudness. We had a super hero theme and the boys loved helping me plan and prepare for their party.

I sure do love these boys

I was going to buy a cake but just ended up making this one last minute.

I tried to get the boys to do an obstacle course but they could have cared less...it was funny! So they just ran around, swang, jumped on the tramp, and played.
This dude was in full party mode-he wanted to be inside playing with his new toy that Grandma and brought him that day. He cried for about 45 minutes of the 1.5 hour party...bless that boy.

We missed our cousin Simon- but here are our friend Cash, Walker and Quade.

We enjoyed a beautiful Easter Sunday-I loved playing the hymns on the organ and singing with the choir and praying.

(I promise I'm not flicking Grant...just trying to get the boys hands down...)
We had our dearest friends Dave and Jessica over with their kids for a scrumptious dinner and egg hunt.

First time sitting in the grass.....he doesn't quite know what the think....
