Halloween 2012

We had a great Halloween! We went to our ward neighborhood and walked around with our buddies! It was fun!
I asked the girls what they wanted to be and was going to make homemade outfits this year. And then I thought about it and decided who I am kidding?? I have a brand new baby! We went to Walmart.com and had them shipped to our house! Sweet! Perfect for me.  We also had a quick pumpkin carving the night before...so gross if you ask me...maybe next year I can convince them to paint them!

Grant LOVED picking out his Iron Man costume from Costco...he couldn't wait to wear it!

The boys were really into their Super Hero costumes and love watching a series on TV called "Super Hero Squad. It was cute to watch them really get and enjoy Halloween this year.

It's so funny that last year they were so into Toy Story, Cars and things like that. This year it's Super Hero's fighting, guns, bigger boy stuff.

Trip to Prescott- Fall Break Fun!

For Fall Break our family took a quick 2 day trip up to Prescott Az to go to a real Pumkin Picking Patch- and enjoy exploring Az. We even stayed in a hotel! Kids love it...me not so much. I only got about 3 hours of sleep, in between feedings....oh well. We sure had fun. Doug and I are both native Arizonin's and have never been to Prescott..we were both surprised at how big it was! We also went to the movies out to dinner and to a local lake. Everywhere we went, all the kind elderly folk commented on how well behaved our kids were....funny. If they only knew:)

 This Bengal Tiger was AWESOME! We were just a few feet away and she would respond when you would say her name. What an incredible animal.

Here are a few Phone Pics...Little buddy is so sweet getting so big and smiling!! Melts my heart. I cried the first time he smiled at me. So sweet.
The other day he was fussing and Grant said, "Mom, he's breaking my heart.." So adorable. They still want to obsess over him and be close to him all day long, but I am trying to be patient about their love for brother.
The other pics are from the boys field trip to Schnepf Farms- so glad Doug was there to help. Couldn't have done it without him!

Emmett's Special Day

Two Sundays ago, on the 14th we were able to have our loved ones around for the blessing of baby Emmett. It is days like these that help us realize how blessed we are. Such loving supportive friends and family, a healthy baby, strong testimonies and lots of love. We blessed him in our ward building and them came back home for homemade Cafe Rio Salads and Costco cake.

Can you believe this is my family?

Since Doug has lost over 100lbs his old wedding suit doesn't fit anymore. Onto Burlington Coat factory for a new one. When he put it on at the store I got some butterflies in my stomache...holy smokes...look at my man!! He is so handsome and adorable...inside and out! Hot stuff...
More than that he is a worthy priesthood holder that is leading this family in righteousness. Even more hotter!

We are so blessed to have this last little addition to our family I know he is meant to be here with us.

One month old

 That was such a fast month! Sweet Emmett turned 1 Month old yesterday. Towards the end of my pregnancy, that last month was the slowest month, and since he came to earth this month is the fastest month ever. Little guy is such a good baby and wakes up 2 times a night, his eyes are starting to focus more on you and today I got a sweet half smile.

Emmett is ADORED  by  his brothers. It is hard for me to have them keep their hands off of him. They want to "Pet" him all day long. And they don't want to wash their hands before they touch him. Clark wants to know if he's awake or asleep, how he is eating, if he is poopy, you get the idea. They are constantly wanting to be by him. It's sweet and enduring, but tiresome and overwhelming at the same time.

Here are some I-phone Pics....Doug took the kids camping and boating for 4 days. What a guy...I'm so grateful for him. I stayed home with Mr. Emmett and went to dinner, slept in, went shopping, and got a pedicure! Heaven...

With our ONE BABY we have done quite a bit these past few weeks. Doug and I went to the movies with little guy. He did great! I nursed for the first time in public and he did awesome.

I also took all my 5 kids to Target by myself the other day, and we did so good until the last 5 minutes and Clark had a meltdown. Sad...poor 3 year olds. I also took the girls on a Mommy date to paint pottery with Emmett. The girls were in heaven and loved the individual attention.
