Happy Birthday to Emmett & Welcome to the World New Babies

It's been a busy and fun couple of weeks around here. My Mom was in town on Sept. 7th for Amanda's Baby shower and Mitt's 1st bday party. It was so fun to plan and prepare for 2 parties in one day. We are so excited for the arrival of 2 new precious babies, such a happy special time. And thank goodness we did because the babies came just a few days later.

Look at this cutie 1 Year OLD!! I cried when I was singing him his bedtime songs that night. My last baby growing up. What a fast year it was! He loves saying Bye- and spending time right by our side.

On September 10 Lincoln and Rebecca joined our family. Both 6lbs and doing great!!! What precious blessings...twins are the best!

Catching up

I sure don't take as many pictures as I used too. I need to get back in the groove of documenting our family life...but here are a few goings on as of late.

Mitt has adorable curls in the back but the front was getting pretty long. Grandma gave him his first hair cut(which he didnt enjoy) but he looks mighty adorable. I must say.

The boys started preschool a few weeks ago with a great teacher just around the corner from us. They love it! 3 days a week 3 hours each time.....happy for the break and happy for them to be learning new things.

Speaking of growing up...this guy turns 1 on Saturday...sniff sniff! He babbles/yells, walks and loves to hit now. Little guy sure melts my heart daily...

Ahhhh....the end of summer is here and the girls started back to school at Weinberg in Chandler. We love Chandler School districts modified year round schedule. Just when the kids are getting sick of each other, it's time to go back to school. Yay!! Sweet girls love the schedule and love school. Such a blessing. So it's just me and the boys at home again. The boys start preschool on Tuesday and go 3 times a week for 3 hour. They need it and I'm excited for them. 

Little Mitt is just such a joy....we love him and his sweet personality. 

These tender boys are so great too. For the past year they have adjusted to having a baby brother around and getting used to him having all the attention. Clark picks him up, pulls his arms, pinches, grabs, and sometimes love him a little too much. Mitt is learning how to fight back and Clark is being more patient with him. 

Here is our 11 MONTH OLD!!! Wow...what a little lover. 

He says, Dada, Mama, ball, night night, stands up on his own for a few moments, loves to shut doors, open cabinets. He loves to snuggle and point and say oohhh. Loves to push cars and make motor sounds...he is just the absolute sweetest.

This is the face he makes when he stands. All the kids cheer and make him feel so proud. It's the cutest thing ever.

I just love spending time with my family. One evening this week we swam and rode the quad. Blessed life...

Family Reunions & the 4th

For the 4th we were sick and Doug had to work....we were supposed to be up with the Davis family at a reunion, but we made the best of it here at home. We went up to the roof and watched the fireworks.

We had such fun at our family reunions this summer. The Davis family met at Big Lake up by Showlow, and then from there we went to a Udall reunion in Pinetop. We went late to the Davis party because I had tonsillitis and Mitt had an ear infection and Doug had to work, but once we got up there it was perfection. No cell service, a gorgeous meadow, beautiful lake, great food, rain, great company, a perfect vacation. Even though Emmett would wake up early in the morning, we still enjoyed the great outdoors.

 I didn't bring my camera out much, but I am so grateful for family ties. I love being with Doug's family and enjoying them.

The gorgeous meadow where the kids played. The older kids made up an enchanted land and included our girls. They showed me around one night...sweet creative things.

Their home...you have to cross a log, watch out for the evil witch and flowers that can kill you...

Our early riser! Up at 5:30 one morning and then 6:30 the next....

From there we went down to Pinetop and rented a gorgeous cabin with my family. We each had our own room, we played games, went to the lake, ate yummy food, enjoyed time on the porch. The kids played really well together, and we loved being together.
